Rental Rates

Our rates are based on euros per night and include all taxes except the local tourism tax (taxe de séjour) which is €2.16 per adult (≥18 yo) per night and which we have to charge for and collect on behalf of the local tourist office.

Please note that we have a minimum booking of 7 nights in high season 2026 (July and August) and 2 nights between the end of April and 6 July.  Over French public holiday weekends (contact us for dates) the minimum booking is 3 nights.

July and August (high season) rentals must start on a Saturday.

But please do talk to us about your personal requirements in terms of dates, arrival times etc., and we'll be as flexible as we can.  Our weekly rates outside the high season are a bargain!

Linen & preparatory cleaning cost: €150. We provide all bed linen, towels and pool towels. We also clean the gîte and make all the beds before your arrival.

You can check in from 6 pm AT THE EARLIEST on the day of arrival, and you must check out by 10am on the day of departure, even for a two-day rental. If you wish to stay later than 10.00 am, and the gîte is available, talk to us in advance and I can sometimes grant you an extension at a reduced rate.

Before you leave, you must clean the gîte and all equipment thoroughly and replace any items that have been broken or moved.

As soon as you have made your booking, I will send you an official invoice. To secure and confirm your booking, you must pay a booking deposit of €300 immediately. Legally, this is a non-refundable deposit, but of course, if you are forced to cancel your booking and give me sufficient notice, I will refund it.  However, I do strongly advise you to take out travel insurance that will cover you in the event of your having to cancel your stay.

Your balance must be paid at least 10 working days before the start of your rental period. Please allow time for your bank to add me as payee - often 3+ working days, even if you bank in France.  I can advise you on ways of getting the best conversion rates from currencies other than euros.

We also take a security deposit of €500 which can be paid in cash or by cheque drawn on a French bank account. You must pay this on arrival. If members of your party arrive at different times, the first to arrive must have the deposit. No deposit, no keys - sorry!
